Welcome to Gardener Extraordinaire, home of garden designer Eric Hagiwara-Nagata.
I have been in the plant-related world all my life.
Having worked with and designed unique gardens and landscapes with the City and County of San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department, first place prize award winning exhibit with San Francisco and Osaka Sister City Organization for the San Francisco Landscape and Gardens Show at Fort Mason, and private residential gardens, I work with each client to provide an unique and beautiful garden for their individual needs.
I’ve worked with several local botanical gardens: San Francisco Botanical Gardens at Strybing Arboretum (formerly Strybing Arboretum and Botanical Garden), UC Berkeley Botanic Garden (provided assistance with their bamboo collection), worked in the San Francisco Japanese Tea Garden, and much more.
